Playtime Healing offers various services, both online and in person, to promote children’s mental health and wellbeing through mindful, creative, play based experiences.

1:1 Mindfulness Support for Children

Playtime Healing offers 1:1 tailored support for children and adolescents who may be struggling with things like emotional dis-regulation, low self esteem, anxiety, worries, low confidence, etc. Through a combination of mindfulness based education & non directive nervous system regulation opportunities, children and adolescents will learn coping skills through creative experiences, tailored to each individuals age and interests.

Creative Mindfulness for Kids

Through arts and crafts, yoga, mindfulness techniques, games & more, this five week course will equip children with coping skills that will have them cultivating a healthy relationship with their inner world, exploring topics such as thoughts and emotions, worries, gratitude practises, friendship, self compassion and more…

These small group sessions of 6-8 children offer an opportunity for children to learn about their inner worlds, while having fun and making friends. These sessions are beneficial for all children to learn skills and tools that will build resilience and support wellbeing throughout childhood and beyond.

School & Community Workshops

The Mindful Heart Curriculum
The curriculum introduces evidence-based mindfulness and self-compassion practices to children using fun, creative and child-friendly methods. The curriculum contains 10 lesson plans which can be adapted to suit age ranges from junior infants to sixth class.

The Mindful Heart curriculum is a perfect support for schools who wish to promote positive mental health and well-being for both students and teachers alike and is aligned with the Irish Primary schools SPHE curriculum.

Single session workshops

We also offer introductory workshops which can be tailored to suit the needs of the individual request. Topics can include stress reduction, self compassion, kindness, anti-bullying, developing a growth mindset etc.

1:1 Parent Support

Here at Playtime Healing, we understand that parents are a child’s first and most influential teachers, shaping their values, emotions, and understanding of the world through every interaction.
As well as working directly with children, Playtime Healing also offers 1:1 Mindfulness sessions for parents. These sessions support you to develop your own mindfulness practise to not only support yourself when dealing with challenges and overwhelm, but to ask so support the whole family through daily interactions.

Parents who prioritise their own emotional wellbeing can model the resilience and self-regulation their children need to thrive.

Mindful Sensory Play

We offer hour long sessions of unstructured and free play for children aged 6 months – 4 years old. Each week is a new theme and all activities set up are designed to encourage awareness of the senses, fine motor development, mind body connection, early literacy development, collaboration, and, of course, FUN! 

All bases are taste safe and toddler friendly! At Playtime Healing we encourage full participation, the messier the better! So please bring some spare clothes so your little ones can emerge themselves fully in the experience!
